Hi there,

yesterday was released the kernel version 2.4.29 at http://www.kernel.org/ and so i'm asking you when will be released the grsec patch for that kernel ?

grsec 2.1.1 is in the works and there is a patch for 2.4.29-rc3 already, so i guess the final patch for 2.4.29 won't take too long

I'm waiting too for grsecurity 2.1.1-2.4.29

Here (http://www.grsecurity.net/~spender/) is grsec for 2.4.29-rc3, but in final version was changed o_mounts.c (since rc3).

well, right now i'm using 2.4.28 + secpatch + grsec, so i don't think there is any urge to upgrade to 2.4.29, unless it contains fixes which the secpatch doesn't contain....
